ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you passionate about landscape-scale restoration? As our Environmentalist Intern, you will play a crucial role in planning large-scale environmental projects by assisting with writing funding bids, conducting environmental assessments, and helping to develop innovative conservation strategies. You’ll work closely with a dynamic team to secure the financial backing needed to bring these projects to life, while gaining experience in project design and implementation. This role offers an amazing opportunity to shape the future of conservation in the UK, contributing to impactful, long-term restoration efforts across diverse landscapes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in planning large-scale environmental projects – contribute to project designs, helping to develop innovative conservation strategies aimed at making a real difference.
• Support in writing funding bids – candidates will work closely with the wider team to secure financial backing by contributing to the preparation and submission of funding applications for conservation projects.
• Conduct environmental assessments – facilitate the collation and analysis of complex data sets to inform project planning and ensure that conservation efforts align with ecological and environmental priorities.
