Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and dedicated Content Writer to join our team on a voluntary basis. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to our growing community by producing engaging and informative content, including blog posts, articles, thought leadership pieces, and LinkedIn newsletters. The ideal candidate is passionate about entrepreneurship, possesses excellent writing skills, and is committed to delivering high-quality content that resonates with our audience.

Responsibilities:
Write blog posts, articles, and other content pieces to be published on our platform, covering topics relevant to startups, technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
Fill the platform with thought leadership pieces that showcase insights, opinions, and expertise from industry professionals and thought leaders within our community.
Scout for grant opportunities and funding resources relevant to startups and entrepreneurs, and create informative content to share with our audience.
Curate and craft engaging content for our LinkedIn newsletter, keeping our subscribers informed about the latest trends, news, and events in the startup ecosystem.
Collaborate with team members to brainstorm content ideas, develop content calendars, and ensure consistency in messaging and tone across all channels.
Conduct research to gather relevant information and data to support content creation efforts, ensuring accuracy and credibility.
Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, coherence, and adherence to style guidelines, as well as correct any errors in grammar, punctuation, or spelling.
Stay updated on industry trends, news, and best practices in content marketing and thought leadership to continuously improve the quality and relevance of our content offerings.

Qualifications Required

Qualifications:
Previous experience in content writing, blogging, or journalism, preferably in a startup or technology-focused environment.
Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging content across various formats and platforms.
Strong research skills and the ability to gather information from multiple sources to inform content creation.
Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices for optimising content for search engines.
Familiarity with LinkedIn and other social media platforms, as well as email marketing tools for newsletter creation and distribution.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all written work.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Enthusiasm for startups, entrepreneurship, and technology, with a genuine interest in contributing to the growth and success of our community.
Duration and Commitment: This is a voluntary position with a flexible commitment, allowing for part-time or full-time engagement based on availability and interest.
