Johanne Penney, who holds a Bachelor of Law degree, is a Senior Executive Leader who has proactively advocated diversity and equity for all underrepresented groups throughout her 20-year career.

After seeing a gap in education in diversity, equity, and inclusiveness within corporate companies Johanne founded Amp Up Your Voice, a modern anti-racism and diversity, equity & inclusion (DE&I) consultancy, to focus solely on delivering high energy, unique thought leadership training and education for the workforce.

Experienced with a current perspective Johanne is passionate and excited to be at the forefront as a positive disruptor.

Johanne is a freelance Culture Writer and currently writes for ‘Millennial Femme’ a social media platform dedicated to the empowerment of Black women. An experienced Content Writer specialising in press releases, statements and blogging on behalf of organisations, particularly on current affairs and racial disparity.

Unapologetic in her passion to achieve real equity for Black, ethnically diverse and in fact all underrepresented groups to ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion, Johanne strives to shift the dial establishing fundamental, tangible change for progressive companies and individuals alike.
