Job Description

As a Voluntary Human Resources Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR team and contributing to the overall success of Take Back Your Mind UK. This voluntary position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about people, human resources, organisational development, and making a positive impact in communities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Onboarding:
– Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing applications, and conducting initial screenings.
– Coordinate and schedule introductory chats with applicants, if required.
– Participate in the onboarding process by preparing and filing documentation such as DBS checks and facilitating orientation sessions.

2. Records and Documentation:
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date volunteer records, including personal information, agreements, and voluntary contribution records.
– Support in organising and filing HR documents such as agreements, policies, and other items such as share codes and DBS certificate numbers.

3. HR Policies and Procedures:
– Assist in the dissemination and implementation of HR policies and procedures throughout the organisation.
– Answer general queries from volunteers and direct them to appropriate resources when necessary.

4. Training and Development:
– Help coordinate training sessions and workshops.

5. Engagement and Well-being:
– Collaborate in organising engagement activities.
– Contribute ideas to improve well-being and satisfaction within the organisation.
– Assist with initiatives we have available to volunteers.
– Encourage volunteers to participate in meetings.

6. Compliance and Legal Requirements:
– Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
– Stay updated with changes in legislation and best practices.

Qualifications Required

- An interest in human resources and organisational development.
- Organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptability to handle various HR tasks.
- Previous experience in HR or related fields (desired but not mandatory).
